Powder Measuring & Dispensing

We keep a selection of powder measuring and dispensing equipment in stock offering multiple ways that powder can be measured and inserted in to a prepared case after it has been primed.

A selection of traditional manual balance scales are stocked from leading manufacturers including RCBS and Lee.

Most reloaders use a powder dispenser that dispenses a pre-set charge of powder each operation, charges dispensed this way need to be weighed periodically to make sure the charge has not changed over time and is being dispensed accurately and consistently. Powder dispensers are a lot faster than using a traditional powder scoop to get close to the required weight then using a powder trickler to top up the charge to the required level.

The easiest solution is an electronic powder dispenser which measures out every single charge as it is dispensed, the user simply programs the required weight into the unit and presses the dispense button, this can then be repeated accurately time after time using the auto dispense programme or repeat functions.

Once the powder has been measured out, it then needs to be inserted in to the primed case. This can be achieved using a case block and a funnel, case blocks are invaluable as they hold cases vertically allowing a powder funnel to be put over the case neck and the powder poured inside. Stands are available for some powder throwers allowing this stage to be removed as the charge is loaded directly in to the primed case.
