Hill Evo 310 Electric PCP Air Compressor

The Hill Evo 310 air compressor is the evolution of 182 years of engineering research and development by Ernest Hill Ltd, it is designed, manufactured and assembled by Hill Pumps in Sheffield, UK.

The Evo 310 has various changes improving reliability, durability and to offer an even better user experience. One of the main new features is an automatic air pressure purge; this purges the air whenever the motor on the compressor stops such as when the compressor goes into a cooling cycle, when a fill is paused, or when the fill has completed. This purge of air significantly reduces the strain experienced by the motor when starting up again against very high pressures increasing the reliability and longevity of the compressor, this function also purges moisture from inside the unit and expels it with the air which is required when filling larger capacity rifles and gun charging cylinders. Moisture builds up inside the unit when air is compressed and could eventually be pushed into the vessel being charged when the internal storage mechanism that holds moisture removed from the air is full, this cannot occur with the new Hills Evo-310 compressor as some of the moisture held is purged with the air to stop it from overflowing even with prolonged use filling larger vessels up to 7L.

Other improvements include a new super durable shuttle valve and highly accurate digital pressure sensor with backup analogue gauge to cover all eventualities. This digital pressure sensor makes filling exceptionally easy, just use the rotary dial to set the required pressure (between 50 and 310 BAR) on the digital screen and start the compressor which will fill until the vessel being charged reaches the pressure entered. Not only does this make filling easy and eliminate the possibility of accidentally over-filling a gun but it also has the added benefit that you no longer need to recalibrate the compressor during a major service.
