ELD (Extremely Low Drag) Match bullets by Hornady feature Heat Shield tips, so that unlike other high BC bullet heads, the ELD Match tips do not melt and deform resulting in no BC degradation and exceptionally consistent results. The Secant OGive and Boat Tail design and Polymer tip provides the most ballistically coefficient, low drag design with great stability.

Every cartridge is hand inspected before leaving the factory, the primers are matched to the load and provide a reliable ignition to the powder charge and the brass cases used meet Hornady's high standards for reliable feeding, corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand maximum chamber pressures.
