As the use of secondary optical devices such as binoculars, thermal imagers and range finders has increased so too has the demand for accessories to safely and securely carry these expensive devices. Many users worry about accidentally damaging their expensive equipment when out in the field so choose to secure them using harnesses and straps stopping them accidentally being dropped and damaged. Many optical manufacturers now make their own harnesses and straps to use with their devices but there are also more generic products available from other manufacturers.
