Ridgeline Mens Monsoon Light Teak Smock

The Monsoon collection welcomes the new Monsoon Light smock, that is brand new for 2025. The smock is made out of 100% polyester and has a fabric weight of 260gsm which means it is the lightest in the Monsoon range. Ideal for the spring downpours, windy days (being windproof) or any time of year when walking is tough and you don't need excessive warmth. The Monsoon Light can be even packed away into the chest pocket. Waterproof rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head and a moisture vapor rating of 10,000 g/m2/24hrs. The minimilist 2.5 layer construction featuers a marled Polyester outer which is hard wearing and comfortable. The smock features a rugged, half length front zip with a storm flap, two zipped hand pockets and a zipped chest pocket. The rollaway hood features a bonded, stiffened visor to offer added protection from the rain.

Waterproof Rating: 10,000mm

Ridgeline use the Hydrostatic Head rating where a column of water is pressed against the material and the level of water is increased until water penetrates the smock.

Breathability Rating: 10,000g/m2/24hrs

Ridgeline use the Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate test which indicates the amount of moisture vapour that will pass through a square metre of the fabric over a 24 hour period.
