Stalon X108 Proofed Sound Moderator

Stalon X108 sound moderators are supplied with a plastic barrel support that fits most Sporter weight rifles but can be machined out to fit the diameter of your barrel. The latest design from Stalon with one of the best sound reduction ratings on the market. Being light weight, small diameter and short the Stalon X108 does not massively effect the feel and balance of your rifle.

Calibres

6mm - Suitable for calibres that shoot a .243 or less diameter projectile including .17 Rem, .17 Hornet, .204, .222, .223, .22-250, .220 Swift, .243, Etc.

.30 Cal - Suitable for calibres that shoot a .311 or less diameter projectile including .243, .25-06, 6.5x55, 6.5 Creedmoor, .270, .308, .30-06, 303, .300 Win Mag, Etc.

The closer the diameter of the baffles in a sound moderator is to the calibre being shot, the more effective the moderator will be. For example a .25 Cal sound moderator is quieter on a .243 rifle than a .30 Cal sound moderator. On the downside it is more likely for a bullet to clip the moderator if they are not aligned perfectly and you can also get turbulence opening up the group size, this is less likely to occur with more space between the bullet and baffles.
